Hello and happy Thursday friends. It is time for a new Seize the Birthday challenge and this week we have the "Toppings" option of using Inlay Die Cuts.
I used SU Bloomin' Heart Thinlets die to cut the filagree heart and then I embossed the negative with SU Lacey Brocade EF (retired) and then placed the die cut back in the negative over a piece of SU Pink Pirouette CS. I stamped the matching flowers from SU Bloomin' Love in SU Smokey Slate ink, die cut them with the matching dies, and sponged them with Pink Pirouette ink. Then I glued the flowers over the die cut. The banner is from the same stamp set. I used my Basic Gray marker and went over just the outline of the banner and stamped it. The sentiment is from SU Happiest Birthday Wishes (retired) and I did the same with the marker as it had more words on the stamp. I mounted this with foam tape.
Be sure to check out all the fabulous inspiration by the Design Team, using Inlay die cuts, over at Seize the Birthday. I hope you will join us.
