Good morning friends. It is Sunday and time for a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenges. This week it is anything goes for Christmas.
I used DSP from American Crafts Wish List 6x6 pad which matches my image quite well. It is a digital image that I have had (colored with Copics) for quite some time and don't remember where I got it from. I copied the image and made a stencil for the part of candle wax that was dripping, then I applied modeling paste for some texture. It actually looks like dripping wax in real life. I also used my Wink of Stella glitter pen to add some shine to the flower and candle flame. The image was die cut with MFT Rounded Banner Stax, and then I sponged SU Crumb Cake ink around the edges. The sentiment is from SU Teeny Tiny Wishes (an older retired set) and punched with the SU Window punch.
You can see the sparkle better in this photo.
Now check out all the fabulous creations by the designers over at Christmas Card Challenges. I hope you will join us this week.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I always appreciate it when you take the time to leave me a comment. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

ReplyDeleteH JoAnn, I love this Christmas card…I need to get started on mine! Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog (Buttons and Bling). The stamp you were asking about is from PTI. I think the set is Ruby Rose.
