Christmas Cheer

I have been sick with Bronchitis all week, but was able to get my card done for the new Christmas Card Challenge this week, which is Anything Goes as long as it is for Christmas.

I made my card using this week's MFT Sketch 268.
I used the MFT ALM You Shine image (discontinued) stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending Card.  I colored her with Copics and Promarkers, and cut her out with a Lil' Inkers Rounded Stitched Rectangle die.  I went over the lights, and the star in her hair, with my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen for a little shine.  The inmage panel is mounted with foam tape.  The DSP is from My Mind's Eye Merry Little Christmas 6x6 pad.  The mats are Recollections Black CS and the card base is Coredinations Heavy White Card.  The black strip is cut with MFT Dainty Lace Border die (sorry, it has been discontinued also).  The sentiment is from MFT Gift Tag Greetings, stamped in MFT Electric Red ink.

You can see the glitter on the lights a little better in this photo (it was hard to photograph).

Now check out all the great creations by the DT over at Christmas Card Challenges.  I hope you will join us this week.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,

  1. Really a fun image! I love the glitter fun and festive!

  2. Love this JoAnn! Cute image with beautiful coloring. The glitter on the lights is a nice touch.

  3. I thought you were quiet last week, JoAnn. I'm so sorry to hear you caught the cruddy bronchitis and I pray that you are completely well very soon!! Your CC is so charming! I always get tangled up in the Christmas lights, too, but I never look quite this fetching when I do!! Take care! Hugs, Darnell

    1. Thank you Darnell. I appreciate your sweet comment and your prayers. Hugs, JoAnn
