I made this card without a sentiment so you could use it for just about any occasion. The flower is Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and cut it with the matching Classic Sunflower Dies. I sponged the petals with SU Daffodil Delight ink and Lucky Limeade ink in the center and then shaped the petals. The leaves from Heartfelt Creations Open Leaf are stamped with Lucky Limeade Ink on Lucky Limeade CS and then fussy cut. the flower is mounted with foam tape and I glued the tips of the leaves underneath. The white strip is made using the SU Scallop Ribbon Border Punch (retired). The banners in the top corner are cut with MFT Fishtail Flags Layers die from Daffodil Delight and Recollections Black CS. The DSP is some old Making Memories I had in my (rather large) stash of paper, I think it matches the photo perfectly. The card base is Coredinations Heavy White CS.
I used the photo challenge at Just us Girls and
the September Week 1 sketch at Viva la Verve
