Seize The Birthday - Red, White & Blue

Happy Thursday my friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have the "Toppings" option of red, white and blue.  It is only an option and if you prefer, you can just make a birthday project.

My cardbase and white panels are from Core'dinations 110# White CS from JoAnn's.  The large white panel is embossed with Darice Dot-Point EF.  The black mats are Recollections.  The blue check DSP is from Recollections Home Basics 6x6 pad and the red DSP is from Carta Bella Boy Oh Boy 6x6 pad.  I stamped two flowers from Verve's Joyful Blooms in SU Riding Hood Red ink (retired), sponged the RHR ink over them and fussy cut them out.  Then I sponged the petal edges darker, layered them, and added a MME Enamel Dot.  The sentiment from Verve's Making a Statement is stamped in SU Brocade Blue ink (retired), and hand cut.  The flower and sentiment are mounted with foam tape.

Now check out all the fabulous creations by my teammates over at Seize the Birthday and play along with us.  Can't wait to see what you created.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  4. Love that flower, JoAnn! And the narrow black mats behind the DP really makes them stand out! Hope you've had a wonderful 4th of July!
