I was able to get my card done for the Merry Monday #153 challenge - use an angel or cherub on your Christmas card.
This image is a cute free coloring image I found on Pinterest, (Click Here for the link). I reduced the image and printed her out on X-Press It Blending Card and did a little coloring with my Copics and added shine with the Sakura Clear Glitter Gel Pen. You can see the glitter a little better in this photo.
I cut her out with a Spellbinders Rectangle and sponged around the edges with SU Bashful Blue ink. The Riding Hood Red mat is cut with a Spellbinders Scallop Rectangle. The DSP is from Authentique Festive 6x6 pad. I cut the sentiment panel, the Old Olive Mat and the horizontal red mat with dies from MFT Blueprints 20. For the red mat, I just got a narrow strip and then put it back in the die to cut the scallops on the bottom edge. The sentiment from SU Contempo Christmas (retired) is stamped in Old Olive ink. The image and sentiment panels are mounted with foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. I really appreciate you taking the time to leave me a comment.
Have a Blessed day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
What an adorable angel, JoAnn! Love the sparkle on her wings! Thanks for sharing her with us at Merry Monday!
ReplyDeleteShe reminds me of an ornament that's been on our tree every year since I can remember - and that's a long time hahaha - Your card is lovely, the shimmering wings are the perfect touch!
