I have had a lot of family stuff and a doctor's appt. this week and this is the first time I have been able to make a card. My card is for the Merry Monday #126 challenge to make the sentiment the star of your Christmas card.
For my card I used all My Favorite Things products except the DSP from Little Yellow Bicycle Making Merry 6x6 pad and the Santa hat from a Cottage Cutz die. I added a tiny pompom at the end of the hat. The sentiment panel is cut with the Textile Rectangle die from Smooth White CS and stamped the sentiment from Grand Holiday Greetings in Electric Red ink. I also cut two of rectangles in red and cut them half (1 lengthwise and 1 crosswise) to make the mat for the sentiment. The mats are Electric Red CS and the base is Smooth White CS.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

This is so cute! I love the little Santa hat perched on the greeting! Thanks so much for joining us at Merry Monday.
ReplyDeleteSweet, simple and DONE! You're inspiring me to get a head-start on my Christmas card stash... Love that the message carries the card.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that Santa hat perched on the delightful sentiment! Pretty plaid paper too! So glad you made it to Merry Monday this week! Hope you have a calmer week.
ReplyDeleteThis really spoke to me from the gallery at MM, JoAnn! I love the plaid so much and that jaunty Santa hat on the corner of your sediment is just fantastic!! I'm sorry I've been so busy and not been by for a while. I think of you often and hope you are doing okay!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWhat a great design, JoAnn! I just got that sentiment set & now I'm really anxious to use it!
