Hello friends. It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Jenny would like us to make a card with Anything With Wings. Of course, it can always be our "Anything Goes" if you are not into our "Topping" option.
For my card I used an older retired SU set called Free as A Bird. I stamped the image and colored with SU Blends: Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green and Crumb Cake, with a little yellow on the small flowers. I blended Balmy Blue ink around the oval after coloring it. I cut it out with an oval die and matted it on SU Misty Moonlight cut with a scalloped oval die. I mounted the image with foam tape to a white panel embossed with a 3D leafy embossing folder, but there is no name on it and I can't remember where I got it. I added a Misty Moonlight mat and then glued to a white card base. I stamped the sentiment from SU Charming Day on a white strip and added it with foam tape and my card was done.

This is the sweetest image, JoAnn, and you designed a wonderful card to feature them. My husband said he saw a bluebird on the suet feeder the other day.

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet branch of bluebirds, JoAnn! We have a pair at the feeders multiple times each day. I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing that their family is growing soon and I'll be remembering this card!
