STB - Clean & Simple With A Stencil

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Nancy would like us to make it Clean and Simple With a Stencil.  Of course we always have our Anything Goes if you are not into using stencils.

I used a Tim Holtz stencil and pale pink ink to lightly stencil the background and then stamped the image from Gina K. Designs Spring Clusters to the bottom left.  I used the stencils with various inks to color in the image and then stamped Happy Birthday (from the same set) in to the top right.  I mounted this panel on a black mat and then to the white card base.  I don't do many clean and simple cards but kind of like the way this one turned out.

Don't forget to check out all the lovely cards by our party guests and the team at Seize the Birthday.  Hope you will join in our fun challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  1. That little bit of soft stenciling is lovely, JoAnn! You should add this to our JUGs gallery, it's stencil week!

  2. JoAnn, I actually think you do CAS more than you think you do! Adding that pale pink doesn't detract from all that white space at all IMHO!
    Another lovely floral!

  3. The background stenciling is really lovely. Just enough to show but not overpower. Your florals are also pretty.

  6. I do like the way this turned out too. I also am not very good at clean and simple cards 'cause I want to add more stuff. I really like how you stuck to the clean and simple design and added the black border.
