Hello friends. I have a new birthday card to share today. This will be going to a friend at church.
I used Spellbinders Club Blooms for the flowers and leaves, and Bold Blooms for the buds. I die cut the flower layers from SU So Saffron and the leaves from lt. green from my stash. I die cut an MFT Stitched Oval from white and stamped the sentiment from Waffle Flower Essential Sentiments in SU Early Espresso. The kraft panel is embossed with SU Pinewood Planks (ret.). I mounted the white oval with foam tape and then mounted the flowers with foam tape. I glued the leaves under the petals. I glued the buds on but added tiny pieces of foam tape to the buds hanging off the oval. This was mounted to the white card base and my card was done.

ReplyDeleteThis is delightful, JoAnn. The brown wood background picks up the color of the flower centers and all the layers add wonderful depth and dimension. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
ReplyDeleteJoAnn your sunny yellow flowers made me think of my friend Coni - I still can't believe she's gone. But don't think I'm sad - it's a beautiful card and we must remember our friends, right?
