Seize the Birthday - One layer

Hello Friends and happy Thursday.  It is time for a new challenge over at Seize the Birthday and this week our "Toppings" option is to make a one layer card.  I am not too good at doing one layer cards as I like to add layers and embellishments.

I used this cute MFT PI Hello Cupcake image.  I stamped her and colored her with Copics and Promarkers.  Then I made a mask and stenciled the MFT Small Brick Wall with MFT Natural Ink.  I hand drew the sidewalk and colored it with promarkers. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp It's Your Birthday, and that is my one layer card.

Be sure to check out all the great cards by the designers over at Seize the Birthday.  I hope you will join us.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  12. This is a great OLC, JoAnn! You brought your own "layering" elements into this design by using that stencil and drawing (very well!) the sidewalk! Hugs, Darnell

  13. I beg to differ on your ability to make one-layer cards, because this is amazing! I don't even add a lot of layers and embellishments and find them hard. ;) Amazing backdrop for this sweet birthday girl.
