Merry Christmas

Good Sunday morning my friends.  This week we have a photo challenge for you over at Christmas Card challenges.

I used this sweet family image from SU Welcome Christmas (retired) and stamped it in SU Blackberry Bliss.  The sentiment from SU Christmas Lodge (retired) is also stamped in Blackberry Bliss.  I cut them with Lil' Inkers Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles.  For the sentiment I cut it half way and then reinserted it in the die and cut the other side.  It worked out perfectly to match the main panel.  The DSP is from SU Moonlight Paper Stack (retired).  The mats and card base are Blackberry Bliss CS.

Happy Birthday for STB

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time it is "Anything Goes" as long as it is for a birthday - no toppings this week.

For my card I used this pretty print DSP from DCWV Nana's Nursery.  I added a black mat and mounted it to a Coredinations Heavy White Card base.  The white panel is cut with a Spellbinders A2 Valiant Honor die.  The flower is made with Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose stamped in black ink and them I sponged Victorian Velvet Distress Ink over each petal.  I added a rhinestone bling to the center of the flower.   I sponged the leaves from the same set with SU Pistachio Pudding ink.  The sentiment is from Just Rite Large Fancy Sentiments. The flower and white panel are mounted with foam tape.

Happy Birthday for JUGS #331

I was able to get a card done for this week's Just Us Girls Color Challenge #331.  The DSP is from Recollections Home Basics 6x6 pad.  The mats are MFT Tropical Teal CS.  I stamped the balloons from MFT Birthday Wishes & Balloons in MFT Tropical Teal and Blu Raspberry inks.  I fussy cut them, mounted them with foam tape, and added the highlight with my white gel pen.  The sentiment and balloon strings from the same set are stamped in SU Midnight Muse.  The white panel is cut with Lil' Inkers Side Stitched Rectangle Mats.  This panel is mounted with foam tape also.   I used my favorite Coredinations Heavy White Card for the card base.

Happy Anniversary

Today I am sharing an anniversary card I made for a couple at church.  I used Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence dies for the white panels and the flowers are from Heartfelt Creations Ariana Blooms.  I stamped them on lt. blue CS and sponged SU Marina Mist ink over them before cutting them with the matching die.  The leaves are cut from SU Certainly Celery with MFT Royal Leaves die.  The sentiment and flourishes are from Just Rite Large Fancy Sentiments.  The lt. blue DSP is from an older DCWV Mango Frost Mat Stack.

Christmas Cheer

I have been sick with Bronchitis all week, but was able to get my card done for the new Christmas Card Challenge this week, which is Anything Goes as long as it is for Christmas.

I made my card using this week's MFT Sketch 268.  

I used the MFT ALM You Shine image (discontinued) stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending Card.  I colored her with Copics and Promarkers, and cut her out with a Lil' Inkers Rounded Stitched Rectangle die.  I went over the lights, and the star in her hair, with my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen for a little shine.  The inmage panel is mounted with foam tape.  The DSP is from My Mind's Eye Merry Little Christmas 6x6 pad.  The mats are Recollections Black CS and the card base is Coredinations Heavy White Card.  The black strip is cut with MFT Dainty Lace Border die (sorry, it has been discontinued also).  The sentiment is from MFT Gift Tag Greetings, stamped in MFT Electric Red ink.  

You can see the glitter on the lights a little better in this photo (it was hard to photograph).

Christmas Card Challenges #11 - Color challenge

Good morning friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenge and this week we have a color challenge for you.

I used this cute Snow Girl by Stampendous and colored her with Copics and then fussy cut her out.  I mounted her with foam tape on a SU Smokey Slate panel embossed with an A2 Wnowflake EF by The Paper Studio.  I ran my white ink pad over the raised snowflakes to highlight them.  I tore a piece of white CS and added it across the bottom for a snowbank.  I stamped the sentiment from SU Greetings of the Season in SU Basic Gray ink.  The mat is SU Pink Piroutte and the card base is Coredinations Heavy White Card.

Cupcake for Seize the Birthday

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have a "Toppings" option of using cupcakes or candy on your birthday creation.

For my card I used this cute PI Hello Cupcake image from My Favorite Things (sorry, it has been discontinued).  I colored her with Copics and fussy cut her out.  I mounted her with foam tape on a panel cut with Lil' Inkers  Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles.  The sentiment is from an older MFT set Birthday Balloons Jolinne (also discontinued), which I fussy cut also.  The DSP panel and paper-pieced dress are from an American Crafts 6x6 pad (no name on it).  I used SU Lost Lagoon CS for the mats.  The card base is Coredinations Heavy White Card.  I tied a piece of aqua Baker's Twine around the top and my card was done.

Happy Holidays

Good morning friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and this week we have a Photo Challenge for you.

I used SU Midnight Muse for the card base and for the main panel, which was cut with a die from MFT Blueprints 1.  I used Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil and modeling paste to create the snow fall.  The DSP is from American Crafts Jack Frost 6x6 pad.  I fussy cut the Santa image from SU Home for Christmas DSP and mounted him with foam tape.  I made the roof top with SU Crumb Cake CS, inked the edges, and tore some white for the snow.  The white was inked with Crumb Cake ink and MFT Small Brick Stencil.  The sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping Festive Frames set, and is mounted with foam tape.

JUGS Challenge #328

This is my card for this week's JUGS Challenge - tic-tac-toe.

I used the middle column - Die-cuts, Stamps, Flowers, and made my card for a couple at church.  I used spellbinders Rose Creations dies for the flower and added a black pearl brad to the center; MFT Pierced Fancy Flourish die for the black flourish; and MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags die for the black flag mat.  The sentiment is from Verve's Love Story stamp set.  MFT Blueprints 20 die for the black scalloped mat.  The DSP is from American Crafts Crimson 6x6 pad.
