This is my card for The Paper Players Sketch #156. The card base, mats and DSP are SU Regal Rose. I embossed the white panel with SU Finial Press EF. The flower is from Verve's Grateful Elegance and the sentiment is from Verve's Take Note. I stamped the sentiment in Mememto Tuxedo Black ink and cut it out with MFT's Fishtail Flags Stax and Fishtail Flags Stax Layers. I used MFT's Leaf-filled Flourish to cut the flourish under the flower in SU Pear Pizzazz CS. I stamped the flowers on white CS in Regal Rose ink and sponged ink lightly over them. Cut them out and sponged more ink on the petal edges. I added the white brad to the flower center and to the horizontal panel and my card was done. This card will be going in my box for Operation Write Home to send to our service men and women overseas.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I really appreciate you taking the time to leave me a comment.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
Gorgeous, JoAnn! Poor Regal Rose just doesn't get much use any more and it is such a lovely color! Your florals are very pretty as the focal point and I like your choice of DP too! Thanks for playing with my Paper Players sketch this week!
