Thinking of You

I tried a new technique on my card I am sharing today - faux stained glass.  I saw it on Darnell's blog here and she had another link to this technique.

YAY, my card was chosen as one of the Outstanding Designs for CAS Miz-Up challenge.

I followed the directions and die cut this Memory Box Perky Poppy die once and glued it down to my die cut panel which is cut with MFT Blueprints 20.  I colored the flower section with Copics and then added three more die cuts glued together, and filled it with Nuvo Crystal Glaze.  I let it dry overnight and then colored the bottom part of the die cut and added a touch of the Nuvo glaze to the small bud.  The sentiment is from an older SU set.  I did a light sponging with SU Pistachio Pudding ink and the MFT Moroccan Lattice stencil as I felt it needed a little something in the white space.  I am really pleased with the way it turned out.  I am not used to doing the CAS style.

I am linking my card up at CAS Mix Up - Color your die cuts.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
