Seize the Birthday - use Vellum or Acetate

Hello friends.  We have a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this week our "toppings" option is to use vellum or acetate on your card.

I embossed the flower from SU Flower Shop and the leaves from Birthday Blossoms on vellum with white embossing powder.  Then I colored the back of the vellum with Melon Mambo and Always Artichoke markers.  I punched the flowers with the matching punch and fussy cut the leaves.  I adhered the flowers with foam tape and glued the bottom of the leaves under the flowers.  The sentiment is from JustRite Large Fancy Sentiments stamped in black on DSP from Studio Calico's Snippets 6x6 pad.  The pink DSP is from Colorbok Light Bright 6x6 pad.  The black mat is punched with a SU border punch (retired).  I added 2 enamel dots (Recollections) to the centers of the flowers.

Now check out all the fabulous creations by my teammates over at Seize the Birthday.  I hope you will play along with us.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
