Christmas Card Challenges #48 - color challenge

Good morning friends.  Wow, we had 121 participants for our challenge last week and now it is time for a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenges.  This week we have a color challenge for you.

My card base is SU Smoky Slate and the mats are MFT Tropical Teal.  The DSP is from Bo Bunny's Altitude Collection 6x6 pad.   The circles are cut with MFT Circle Stax 1 and 2.  I embossed the white layer with The Paper Studio Snowflake EF and added a mixture of Fun Flock & Flower Soft to the bottom for snow.  The cute snowman is from SU Snow Much Fun (sorry, it is retired).  I colored him with my blending pen and MFT Tropical Teal and Sno Cone inks.  I used the Marvy Snow Pen on the snowball and his hat brim (it looks yellowish in the photo but not in person).  I mounted him with foam tape.  The sentiment is from the same set, stamped in Tropical Teal ink.  Both panels are mounted with foam tape.

Now check out all the great cards by the designers over at Christmas Card Challenges.  I hope you will join us this week.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  1. Such an adorable card JoAnn. This snowman is so cute, I'm sorry to hear he's retired but I'm sure there are others that would work quite well. Always love your embossing folders. They look great & its another thing I have that I forget to use. Hope this finds you well.
    hugs, Janie
