Seize The Birthday - Summer Time

Happy Thursday stamping friends.  It is time for another Seize The Birthday Challenge and this week our option is to make it a summer time birthday.  I chose the option and here is my card:
I used this cute PI-Sprinkle Girl from MFT.  I stamped her on X-press It Blending Card with Mememto Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copics.  She is cut out with Spellbinders Classic Ovals and matted with Scalloped Oval.  I sponged SU Bashful Blue ink around the edges while still in the die.  I paper-pieced her swimsuit with SU Crisp Cantaloupe DSP.  The other DSP is from American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan 6x6 pad.  The card base is MFT Smooth White CS and the mats are SU Crisp Cantaloupe.  The bottom sentiment is from the same stamp set and the happy birthday is from SU Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired).  The sentiments and image are mounted with foam dimensionals.

Now check out all the fabulous samples by the Design Team over at Seize The Birthday.  I hope you will play along with us.  Can't wait to see your creations.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  4. You just brought back great childhood memories of running through the sprinklers when I was a kid. What a great summertime activity! Really great card JoAnn! Remember we are getting together sometime at the end of the month as soon as I get Ty all situated! I will be in touch!
