Merry Christmas for Merry Monday and My Favorite Things

ETA:  My card was an Honorable Mention at Merry Monday.

I used this week's MFTWSC#179 and the Merry Monday #111 challenge - use aqua and white with a splash of color(s). I added a splash of red on his scarf, snowflake and the sentiment and used black mats.
MFTWSC179

The card base is MFT Smooth White CS with mats of Black Licorice CS. The DSP is SU Coastal Cabana.  I stamped the MFT Holiday Hugs Snowman on X-Press It Blending Card, colored him with Copics and cut him out with the MFT Pierced Circle Stax dies. I added glitter pen to the snow but it doesn't show up in the photo.  The sentiment from MFT Christmas Ornaments is stamped in SU Real Red ink and cut out with MFT Circle Stax 1 and layered with Circle Stax 2.  The cute Real Red snowflake is cut with MFT Let It Snowflake die and added a gold brad to the center.  The image and sentiment are mounted with foam dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  2. This is so adorable. I saw it over on MFT's sketch challenge when posting my card, and then again on Merry Monday. It seems we both combined the same challenges - great minds. Love your copic coloring!
