Birthday Wishes

Edit:  My card was a PPA Pick.

Sorry for the glare on the photo, but I had to take it inside as it is a rainy afternoon here in Central Florida.
I made my birthday card using Freshly Made Sketches 94 and the colors from the PPA Color Challenge. I am also entering my card in the Seize The Birthday Anything Goes challenge.  I embossed the Very Vanilla layer with the SU Finial Press EF (retired) and the sentiment is from SU Bring On The Cake.  I stamped the flowers from SU Flower Soft in Cherry Cobbler ink on Very Vanilla CS, sponged some CC ink over them, cut them out and added more ink around the edges of the petals.  I shaped the leaves with my stylus and a mouse pad and then added pearls to the centers.  The leaves are punched in Midnight Muse with the Build a Bird punch.  I love this sketch and will be using it again.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I appreciate your comments.

Happy Stamping,    JoAnn

  6. JoAnn--I saw your card on PPA and clicked on it to see it "up close and personal." I love that when I got to your blog the first thing I see are the words to Psalm 118:24, which happens to be my confirmation Bible verse. I'm also a crafty grandmother, so I know we are kindred spirits. Your card is lovely--thanks for sharing.

  9. Totally agree with Mary's comment, such an elegant card, with great combination of colours against the white. Very effective.
