Sketch For You To Try - Verve Customer Card Carnival

I made this card for Verve's Customer Card Carnival using Jen's August Sketch For You To Try. This is the first time I have played along with the SFYTT and Verve is the sponsor for August's sketch.
I will be giving it to my granddaughter and  her husband for their first anniversary soon.  The papers are all from MME Union Square. The base is SU Very Vanilla.  The stamps are from Verve,
Sunny Days (Flower & leaves); Wishful Elegance (sentiment) and Love Notes (hearts).  The sentiment panel is cut with Verve's Classy Label die and I hand cut the black mat. The leaves are cut with the Leafy Sprigs die

MFTWSC85 - Happy Birthday

My card is made based on this weeks My Favorite Things weekly sketch challenge 85.  I flipped the sketch to go with the image. The image is from ALM-Go For the Gold, based on the Olympics, but I thought of the torch as a big candle so I made a birthday card using the image.  I paper-pieced the torch and her outfit and colored her with Copics. I think she looks pretty cute  The sentiment is from MFT Birthday Balloons Jolinne set.  The card base is SU Kraft CS.

MojoMonday 253 - A True Friend

This is a card I made for this week's Mojo Monday sketch.  I love the slanted panels on the sketch, it is a great sketch and fun to play with.   All the center panels and flower are raised on dimensionals.  I inked the edges of the square, oval and the flower layers.  Had to add the flower made with Verve's Floral Circles dies and a SU punch, with a SU brad in the center. I love making flowers and adding them to my projects. I used the SU Bird punch for the leaves and the Martha Stewart fern punch.
I appreciate you visiting my blog and leaving comments.  Have a great day.

Mojo Monday 252 - Anniversary Wishes

I am playing along with this week's MOJO Monday sketch which is square or round.  I chose to do a square card and use monochromatic colors, black & ivory older K& Co. paper pad (although it looks white in the photo).  I used Verve's Floral Circles dies to make my flowers. I crumbled the layers and inked the edges with black ink. The centers are black brads by Recollections.  The flowers, center panel and sentiment panel are all raised on dimensionals.  I embossed the Very Vanilla flagtail strip with the SU dots EF. The leaves are SU sizzlet die.
